Our Chapel

=============================================================

In the onset of the neighborhood, the pioneers of Phases 3-4-5 of Golden City Subdivision in Imus, Cavite felt the need to build a Catholic Chapel with the guidance of Father Jeff Bugayong, the priest who was serving the community. These people went to a painstaking process to ask from the village developer, the Extraordinary Group and the Office of the Imus Town under the leadership of Mayor Oscar Jaro, this parcel of land.

In 1998, a ground-breaking ceremony was held with Bishop Manuel Sobreviñas, assisted by Fr. Totie Bermudez and Fr. Kitch Quitasol to initiate the plan of building a chapel. It was only in February 2001 that the actual building of the chapel took place.

Presently, the chapel of St. Joseph the Humble Worker is serving Phases 3-4-5 of Golden City Subdivision and the nearby Diamond Village with over 500 families.
